Going down was surreal. At first, it's a shadow in the blue, and then it came into view. It was huge. The ship is now a thriving artificial reef, draped in corals and teeming with fish. We saw giant groupers peeking from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. The feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel is hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a piece of history under the water.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for an more info adventure more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough.
